The smallest size you should choose is 200x250 cm since the chairs should be placed on the carpet when you take them out. Try to get the exact size by placing an old sheet or newspapers to measure the size.

Hei, minua kiinnostaisi tietää, miten maton ikä vaikuttaa sen myyntihintaan? Eli esim. vanha (n. 60v) villa Tabriz vs. uusi (0-20v), ja olettaen molempien olevan saman laatuisia/kuntoisia.

If the old carpet is in good condition with non-faded colours it gives a higher price since it's considered to be semi-antique. Also older carpets tend to have a higher knot density which means that the carpet took a longer time to knot. It is also more expensive for retailers to buy an older carpet than a newer one.

Matto (AC272-301x200cm) tuli pikana ja on nyt sille varatulla paikalla. Matto oli hyvässä kunnossa ja vastasi odotuksiamme. Maton tilasin 2.1.-07 ja perille tuli 4.1.-07. Suosittelen.

Loistava hankinta! Näin helposti ei kookasta mattoa saa mistään ilman hankalia kuljetusjärjestelyjä. Nyt sain komean maton netistä suoraan ruokasaliin kannettuna. Luonnossa matto on paremman näköinen kuin näytöltä katsottuna. Minulla ei ole valittamista, katselen jo seuraavaa hankintaa CarpetVistan sivuilta.

Tilasin Gabbeh Indo Fine -maton johon ulkonäön puolesta olen hyvin tyytyväinen, mutta ensimmäisen aidon villamaton omistajana hämmmästyin matosta irtoavan villan/nukan määrää. Parilla ensimmäisellä imurointikerralla villaa irtosi niin paljon että täytti imurin pölypussin. Ja maton pintaa kämmenelläkin vetämällä, villaa irtoaa vieläkin. - Onko tämä normaalia ja väheneekö nukan irtoaminen?

CarpetVistan vastaus : The carpet you bought is an Indo made Gabbeh and what you describe is normal for these kind of carpets. The wool used for this carpets is a bit rougher than the wool used in, for example, Persian made Gabbeh carpets. There is also more surplus wool in them which you noticed. Some good advice is to vacuum the carpet once a week in order to get rid of the surplus wool. We do not recommend that you try to get rid of all the surplus wool at one time since this could wear the carpet unnecessarily. It is hard to say exactly how long it would take for all the surplus wool to disappear, but if you maintain it normally the amount decreases.

Ovatkohan muut sivuja suomeksi lukevat huomanneet, että Gabbeh Persia fine-, ja Kazak Fine-mattojen nukka on käsinkehrättyä silkkiä vain suomeksi? Muilla kielillä kylläkin käsinkehrättyä villaa. Korjausta odotellen, sekä nettisivujen että oman tilauksen kohdalla...

Ostin kauniin Bakthiar maton keväällä. Matto on hieno ja värit loistavat. Varmuuden vuoksi käytin mattoa erään mattoja korjaavan ja entisöivän asiantuntijan nähtävänä. Hän hämmästeli maton edullista hintaa ja kauneutta. Pieni loimivika tosin matosta löyti, meutta se korjattiin viipymättä.
Voisin ostaa lisää mattoja, mutta sitä varten tarvitsen isomman talon tai kartanon. Ehkä jonain päivänä sitten. Hauskinta ostamisessa oli aikominen ja suunnitelu. Toivotan menestystä liikkeellenne!
